Rigsheet starts at $4, ZenMaid at $19 — and the price is the least interesting difference.
The caps are what matter. ZenMaid Starter caps at 40 appointments a month and adds $4 per seat; Pro is $39 + $14/seat, Pro Max $49 + $24/seat. Billing is monthly only with no annual discount, SMS is billed separately, and the trial requires a card with the mid tier auto-selected. Rigsheet has no appointment cap and no per-seat charge on any tier.
Being straight about the price comparison, because it would be easy to make it look better than it is: Rigsheet Starter is $4 and does not include customer texting. The Rigsheet tier that texts customers is Solo at $29. ZenMaid bills SMS separately on top of its tier, so the honest read is that Rigsheet is dramatically cheaper if you don't text customers, and roughly comparable once you do — with the appointment cap and the seat charge being the real difference either way.
ZenMaid is cleaning-only and shipping. Rigsheet covers both cleaning and detailing and is in development. If you clean and you need software this week, ZenMaid is a real product with real customers and Rigsheet is not yet an option.

The 40-appointment cap, in practice
One full-time cleaner doing two to three jobs a day, five days a week, is 40 to 60 appointments a month. So ZenMaid Starter is, functionally, a part-time plan — and the moment you go full time you are on Pro at $39 + $14 per seat.

Again, the slope is the point rather than the gap. Under a per-seat model every hire costs money before it earns any, which is the loudest complaint in the cleaning trade — one UK operator on Trustpilot put it plainly: "it would cost £80 a month for four staff, I decided against it."
Where ZenMaid is the better choice
Being straight about this matters more than the pricing table.
- It exists and has for years. Rigsheet does not.
- It is cleaning-native. Recurring route work, cleaner assignment, payroll — built specifically for that business, and the domain knowledge shows.
- A real customer base. Support, documentation, and a community of people who have hit your problem already.
- If you are under 40 appointments a month and solo, the price difference is $4.
Where ZenMaid draws criticism
From its own users, in its own reviews — worth reading before you commit rather than after.
The iOS app is 3.2★ from 76 ratings, which is unusually weak for a paid product. Verbatim complaints span years: "it's constantly glitching… I've lost 3 clients so far due to errors with this system" (2018); "every time you log in or open the app you have to define your preferences about which map you want… that's just ridiculous" (2024). On payroll, from Capterra: "the time I had to spend redoing payroll was a deal breaker… glitches and requires constant refreshing."
Billing surprises. A September 2025 review: "My bill was suddenly increased by $60 just because I asked several times how to reactivate a worker."
The trial demands a card and auto-selects a mid tier. Rigsheet's planned trial also requires a card — that is friction we share and we are not going to pretend otherwise — but auto-selecting a tier above the one you asked for is a separate complaint.
Monthly billing only. No annual discount, so no way to reduce the cost by committing.
How to decide
ZenMaid if: you clean only, you need software today, you value a mature cleaning-specific product, and you are comfortable with the app quality.
Rigsheet if: you do detailing as well as or instead of cleaning, the per-seat charge is what you object to, or the 40-appointment cap makes the entry tier meaningless for you — and you can wait.
Neither if you need three or more people plus real reporting and QuickBooks. That is Jobber territory, at a much higher price.
