Jobber is a better product than Rigsheet and it is priced for a business with a payroll. That is the whole comparison, and pretending otherwise would be silly — Jobber holds around 4.6★ on Capterra across 1,400+ reviews, wins recognition for onboarding, and has years of hardening behind it.
The question is what it costs you. Jobber's advertised Core is around $49/month, but QuickBooks sync and GPS sit above it, so the tier most operators actually need is Connect at around $129/month — plus $29 per extra user. A four-person crew is roughly $216/month before annual discounts.
Rigsheet is from $4/month — four tiers up to $39, flat, with no seat charge and no appointment cap — and it is in development and not released. If you need software this week, Jobber ships.

Where Jobber is clearly better
- It exists. Rigsheet does not yet.
- Onboarding. Repeatedly praised — one review noted it "walked me through all of it in a logical order rather than dropping me into a blank dashboard." It has won recognition for setup speed and ease.
- Reporting and integrations. QuickBooks sync, a real integration ecosystem, and reporting a small tool will not match.
- The trial has no card. Rigsheet's planned trial requires one. That is a deliberate conversion decision on our side and it is friction on yours; worth naming.
- It scales past three people. Rigsheet is built for one to three. At eight staff you want Jobber, and the seat fees stop being the dominant consideration.
Where the price shape actually differs
The seat fee is the real divergence, and it compounds in exactly the direction you do not want.

The thing to notice is not the gap. It is the slope. Under a per-seat model, hiring your second cleaner adds a software cost before it adds a dollar of revenue, and that is the complaint that dominates the cleaning trade — "the tools that charge per user or per seat climb with every cleaner you add." Where trade specificity matters
Jobber covers every field-service trade, which is a strength for the market and a gap for yours. It does not ship vehicle-size or home-size pricing multipliers, because most of its trades do not need them.
For detailing that is not a nicety. SUVs and MPVs are roughly 41 percent of detailing volume, and a price list with no size multiplier systematically underprices the most common job. You can build multipliers into Jobber line items — you just have to remember to apply them, in a driveway, with a customer waiting, which is precisely when people do not. How to decide
Choose Jobber if: you have three or more people, you need QuickBooks and real reporting, you want a proven product with support behind it, or you need software this week.
Wait for Rigsheet if: you are one to three people, the seat fee is the thing you object to, you want vehicle-size or home-size pricing to be a default rather than a discipline, or you run both detailing and cleaning — which most products in this category do not cover together.

Is Jobber worth it for a solo operator?
Usually not on price. Jobber is an excellent product built for crews, and for one person the working tier plus the features you will want lands near 129 dollars a month. Whether that is worth it depends on whether you need the reporting, integrations and client-management depth that money buys.
What is the cheapest Jobber alternative?
For cleaning, ZenMaid Starter at 19 dollars a month, subject to its 40-appointment cap and per-seat charge. For detailing, QuoteIQ from about 29.99. Rigsheet is 19 dollars flat with no cap and no seat fee, and is in development.
Does Jobber have vehicle-size pricing for detailing?
